This landmark Off-Broadway theatre was opened in 1996 by the Tony Award winning producer Daryl Roth and comprises three exceptional venues. The unique main theatre space has hosted such hits as the long running De La Guarda and Fuerza Bruta, which played an exceptional combined 14 years. Our current production is the timely GLORIA: A LIFE about the legendary Gloria Steinem. Other productions include Derek DelGaudio’s hit theatrical allegory In & Of Itself; the New York premiere of Almost, Maine, which continues to be one of the most produced shows across the county; Manuscript; and Striking 12. The intimate DR2 has been home to shows including the U.S. premiere of Thom Pain (based on nothing); Masked; Stars of David; temporary home to the Irish Repertory Theatre; as well as wonderful children’s programming introducing our youngest patrons to theatre like The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Dear, Edwina. The D-Lounge is our versatile cabaret space.
The Box Office opens two hours prior to each performance
